When you want to increase the google rank for an existing article, you can create content clusters to support your main keyword. A content cluster is a range of articles with close related topics (sub topics) that links to your main topic/article, see illustration.
Indholdsfortegnelse
In other words. This is a method where you build related articles around your main topic/keyword and afterwards linking the articles to the main article using the exact keyword.
Here is the 5 steps to build a content cluster:
- Goto your article and grab the main keyword
- Google your main keyword
- Take related searches in bottom of google (only those that make sense)
- Write a new article for each related search, or use an existing article
- Link support page to main article
Below I will explain all 5 steps and teach you how to build a content cluster, in the example I will use the main topic/keyword Microcréditos con ASNEF
Goto your article and grab the main keyword
Open your main article, in this example I open https://prestamos1.es/microcreditos-con-asnef/ and copy the main keyword Microcréditos con ASNEF. If its WordPress you find main keyword here:
Google your main keyword
Now that you have your keyword, open your favorite browser in incognito. and google the keyword Microcréditos con ASNEF
Take related searches in bottom of google (only those that make sense)
Scroll to bottom of google and copy all related searches
Write an article for each related search term
Now choose the best suited term and write an article, here I chose préstamos en españa con asnef as support page, you can see the article here. As you probably noticed I linked my main keyword Microcréditos con ASNEF from support page https://prestamos1.es/prestamos-en-espana-con-asnef/ to main article https://prestamos1.es/microcreditos-con-asnef/
If you already have an existing article about the related search, then simply use that article and link it to main article Microcréditos con ASNEF, if the keyword Microcréditos con ASNEF don’t exist in article then merge it in.
Link support page to main article
This was more or less pointed out in previous step, remember to link support page to main page on exact keyword: Microcréditos con ASNEF
